Jeanette Pavini
Jeanette Pavini is a two-time Emmy Award winning on-camera consumer and investigative reporter completing over 8,500 news stories. From 2000 to 2008, she was the chief consumer reporter for CBS 5 in San Francisco. Her money-saving segments became the backbone to her 30-minute consumer show, The Real Deal. This Emmy nominated show ran for 7 years on CBS 5, 3 years on NBC Bay Area, and is the recipient of 8 Press Club Awards for Best Program.
Jeanette has been a featured guest contributor for The Today Show, as well as other network TV shows. As a “family member” on Hallmark Home & Family, Jeanette specializes in tips to save people money, time and create a savvier lifestyle. For 5 years, she was the money-saving contributor to The Better Show with her Better Ways to Save segments. She is a contributing on-camera reporter for USA Today and their video network. Her in-depth investigations aired on “30 Minutes” created by Don Hewitt.
As a columnist Jeanette writes for MarketWatch, The Wall Street Journal Sunday, The Huffington Post, and Better Homes & Gardens. Her columns educate readers on how to protect themselves as consumers. She is also an on-camera contributor to The Wall Street Journal Digital Network and WSJ Radio. Jeanette co-authored “Raising Baby Green,” recipient of the Nautilus Gold Medal Book Award and The Library Journal.
